Darryl Farley is a loving father, husband, educator in the metro Atlanta area, and author of children’s book I Will Be Here. I Will Be Here was written during the pandemic of COVID 19, when he noticed there were a lack of books that showed representation of black children and their families. I Will Be Here is a promise from a black father to his children, that he will witness all of their milestones from birth to adulthood. After much success of I Will Be Here, Darryl followed up by creating Imara and the Kinara to bring more excitement and awareness to Kwanzaa. Imara and the Kinara is the first interactive doll and book set that helps families celebrate Kwanzaa.
